My humble couponing beginnings...

Welcome to Coupon Clippin' Woman! My name is Donna McInvale and  I am so glad to have you join me on my coupon clipping, money saving journey! I have been couponing for several years...thanks to my friend Kym, who introduced me to the opportunities to save with coupons. Before I began couponing, I used a price book to chart prices and try to get the best deals on the things I purchased regularly. The price book method is an excellent one, and I try to still use it with my couponing. I truly believed, however, before my friend Kym introduced me to couponing, that coupons were only an inducement to purchase items that you didn't need at a price still much higher than store brands or generics. Of course, that can be true, unless you use the tactics that I have learned over these several years. Thanks, Kym, for getting me started! Over the next several posts, I will share with you the methods I have used (and am still experimenting with) to save money without spending 80 hours a week doing it. Remember, you need to be a good steward of your time as well as your money!
